One of my regular costumers has 2 70ft lime trees that need removed. 1 has severe Ustilina and the other has Ganoderma.

The trees are very old and are right next the the gated entrance.

He would like to replace them with 20- 25ft limes.

Does anyone know if there is any grants from the goverment for this?

The trees are in a conservation area.

Thanks

Ask your LPA. We have grant aid available for tree work to protected trees if the owner is over 60 or on benefits. We only grant to a maximum of £250 though so you might get one 25ft lime with that... :D
