Many years ago , I was grafting in a field with my work mates.

When we left off , we noticed a thorn tree growing in the dyke.

So we trimmed it up , cut the head back and grafted it with " Crimson Cloud".

And this is the result.

Gutted that I missed it in full bloom , I trim the suckers off from time to time.
