I have a rope guide use it all the time! I also noticed that if your rope isn't straight to the rope guide it doesn't work well. I was deadwooding a big oak .. out on a limb, the rope was over limb above and I was trying to come back in and it wouldn't bite the rope.. there was a fair bit of creep.. if I fell i wonder how long it would of took for it to bite. On the other hand it worked well when the rope was straight to the pulley.

You certainly like the ART kit,cocoon,positioner and spiderjack.Nice little vid mate

Dunno if your aware but theres been a warning issued by treekit about the spiderjack 3.
