Jansen gte 150e

Hi, I'm new to this so hope it's posted in the right place.

I've recently been looking at getting a chipper and have decided to go for something smaller rather than a tow behind. I had all but decided to go for a green mech cs100 but then saw a Jansen gte 1500e online.

The Jansen is less than half the price but it has a Chinese Honda clone engine, does anyone have any experience of these Jansens? From what I've seen on YouTube they seem to be quite capable but will it last?

Basically whatever I get needs to be tall enough to chip into a Landrover defender tipper and will be transported on my tipping trailer.

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I've only a few weeks ago sold my jansen, it was a good piece of kit to get myself started but i gotta say that its nowhere near as good as the greenmech which i've got now. its also worth noting the greenmech is also a little narrower than the jasnen if you're looking at narrow access but i do miss the swivel discharge chute. a downside to the greenmech though is its high centre of gravity which in my opinion at least does make it less maneuverable. major points in favour of the greenmech however are more HP, far superior build quality, parts and service, and the price beat the competition. I have seen that Haecksler have a new chipper coming out with 500mm wide blades so a better in feed mouth, the 18HP briggs and straton engine and still the same width as the greenmech and with a lower CoG if youve got the luxury of time i'd give this a look. Hope this all helps!
