Everywhere i look the big stores have thousands of mass produced conifer based wreaths.

I was just wondering if anyone knows the story of thier production, anybody make them in this country.

Must need a hell of a lot of materials.

We make our own wreathes to supply locally, each one being an individual design from a range of materials. Our rings are woven from willow, birch, beech and/ or bramble.

The imported ones for supermarkets generally come from Romania, Poland, etc because the labour is cheap.

UK wholesalers for flower products, inc wreathes, have a country of origin.

What the general public seem generally unaware of is that there have been/ and still are human rights abuses, serious health issues & big environmental impacts via alot of cheap supermarket flower products.

We make spruce and holly wreaths for 'the trade'. They go out blank and the florists then decorate them to their suit their own customer budgets and taste.
