Woodchip disposal..

We currently sell ours to Stobarts and have done for years, normally about 100 tons at a time. Demand seems to cycle where sometimes they are desperate for it and at other times they don't want any...

 

At present they do not need any (apparently they have lots from forestry, but will need it if it snows..?).

 

It's not an issue at present as we have space to store it, but if this is more then just a dip in demand we will need to get rid. Is anyone else buying it in bulk (I am not interested in selling small loads or dropping of at farms..).

Could be a dip for now.....

 

There's a biomass power station being built here in Cramlington.

 

Doesn't look that big (so far)...

 

Not sure if it's gong to be a chip, pellet or what ever they're fuelled by though....

 

So could this be the quiet before the storm??
