Am I the only one who keeps thinking it looks like:

 

a) a toilet seat

or b) one of those 'piles sufferers' cushions?

 

Probably look great as a mirror though

Looks like Beech? Good luck in getting that off with a pressure washer!!!

I would leave as is, and Danish oil over top would look dandy!

I'm sure it will. I don't think the picture does it justice because I can imagine what it looks like.

 

It was my first impression when I saw it and now it just won't go away. Look forward to seeing it completed:thumbup1:
