Autumn Leaf collection

Anyone done any autumn Leaf collection work? Been asked about it a few times but I cannot work out how to charge. These customers work on contract rates (usually square or linear M) so it's hard to price. I've not seen two car parks, pavements, public parks etc that are the same - in fact wildly vary.

Can obviously do a day rate but I dislike this as customers are often suspicious and let's be honest, there is no incentive to work quickly.

Any thoughts?

Would probably be running pickup with a large trailer, 4 guys with blowers and a debris loader vacuum.

Absolutely. I've done quite a bit of leaf clearing as part of any another works and completely agree. 5 large lime tree can full a builders bag(which is my I already have a debris loader). That was paid on a per tree basis though as part of pruning.

I am wondering if a 'per tree' basis is best. Difficulty is going to be when you are clearing dome trees but not others - on a site boundary for example.
