Anyone know anything about this? Firewood / wood processor with infeed deck . | eBay

 

This must be the third time I have seen it listed since last year, using the same pictures every time.

I would be very surprised if that is in Hornchurch. No open fields there with big pine forests!!!

an Ebay-er called cricketbits was selling this back in May this year (I asked a few questions but didn't bid). His 'sale' is not showing in his history so either no feedback was left or is was never a genuine sale (more likely!) The mesag I received back included:

reply directly to: [email protected]. Is towable. I can sell it for £3,500.00 Regards

 

I've also found an email from the 'seller' with some additional photos! Yell if you want them!

The 'reply direct' email is a basic way that scammers start a trail of communication with potential victims that is not visible to ebay. There will be all sorts of excuses why you can't come and view. If you ask for a phone number to actually talk to someone, there will be some spiel about why they can't talk. They will 'want to deliver' and you will have to pay a deposit or full price through a money wiring service or bank transfer.

 

The scammers will not be in the UK. They do not have the item.

Scam. report it and avoid. 100% a scam.

 

EDIT: My mistake, that information was to do with the sale in May. With a sale like this I'd be tempted to keep any money in your pocket up until collection.
