As above and id recommend an advanced first aid certificate too.

 

Ahh yes that will probably be the first one I get at the farm has just come down on me hard about first aid and what happens if I have an accident, saying a can't do certain jobs on my lonesome, quite hard for a one man band, although even my mum will do as a second person!!! They said as long as they speak good English and can dial 999 its okay

Mark's spot on ( as is often the case) with the 30,31,38,39 ( and I won't bother quoting all the current titles). I would, of course, say do the Lantra's certification for preference... but I'm biased and, in truth, it makes no difference.

I would say suggest doing the Lantra training, because that does make a difference, and you might opt for the woodchipper and stumpgrinder as ITA courses, rather than going for the regulated qualification.

Cs50 old money cover dealing with upto 6 emergency trees, windblown, felled trees are different to those still attached in-part to the remainder of the trees canopy or root plate ,

youll need the cs 30 31 beofre cs50

 

chipper & grinder , tractor with loader trailer & pto implements

 

all are quoted as old reference to NPTC , I prefer NPTc as other awarding bodys have expiry limits,

theses qualifications are know known awards " licence to practice "

scoot about & finf out the info that suits , lots of commercial providers outhere, also colleges, though real world experience from commercial providers often has its benfits to it.
