Climbing Arborist Wanted in NZ

Climbing Arborist required in sunny Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.

We are a well established business operating since 1982. We can offer excellent work conditions and pay to the right person.

The person we are after must have a minimum of NZQA Level 5 or overseas equivalent qualification.

They also must have at least 3 years fulltime experience in the Arboricultural industry.

Competence is needed in a wide range of skills including the following:

Climbing -

Both dynamic and static rope access techniques and climbing with and without spikes.

Rigging -

GRCS winch use for controlled dismantling.

Machinery Operation

- HT licence is necessary

- Chipper operation and maintenance experience is necessary.

- Excavator/digger experience is desirable.

- Stumpgrinding experience is desirable.

We are looking for a hard working, intelligent, fast learning problem solver who wants to be involved in producing high quality tree work. Love of trees is a must as well as the desire to always better themselves in the industry.

Pay rate is $25 to $35 per hour depending on skill level.
