We were at lamma today and my mate was looking at the riko petrol driven logging saws ,anyone got experience of these and are they any good . Also are there any good alternative machines that are worth a look but it must be a petrol driven one .Thanks

Check the rabaud stuff Circular saw with stand and thermal engine - Rabaud

2 petrol options, one on trailer chassis, the other on small frame. Trailer version can be adopted for output conveyor.

I like the simple log gripper on these machines, its on the right side of the V, thus giving extra leverage for the final cut and hand nowhere near the blade. Some makes dont have them at all, others have one, but its mounted the other way around.
