Looking to get into arboriculture

Hi as title says I'm looking to gain some experience in arboriculture.. I have own saws and all ppe equipment.. I have owned my own small but successful firewood business for the last 3 years cutting 10/15 artic loads a season so I'm not a newboy to a chainsaw lol.. Anyone know of anyone that could help me out in Ireland.. I'm hoping to complete my cs30/31 in January.. Thanks

Do the ring around thing and offer a free trial day here and their and I'm sure someone will give you a start.

Probably best to target the bigger outfits initially as more chance of a quicker start then move to a smaller firm who will give you a bit more one to one.

It's not easy but if your Hungary for the trees someone will feed you.

Keep your eye on the annual tree climbing comps that might be near you and go down and meet some tree geeks who are always willing to share their knowledge

Good luck. The industry is swamped with tree surgeons, 'tree surgeons', gardeners who do tree surgery, cowboys, scumbags and gypos.

 

It's tricky to find a job, very hard to find a job with someone who actually knows why they at doing.

Most don't know how to do it properly and don't know that they don't know.
