Contract Manager – Utility Arboriculture – North Wales

Following the award of a prestigious and strategically important contract for Scottish Power Energy Systems (SPEN) the company seeks to appoint a Contract Manager for this exciting career opportunity.

 

The successful candidate will be a proactive business manager who will be able to offer significant operational, financial and commercial management to further establish the Company’s position and reputation in the utility arboricultural sector.

 

Reporting to the Regional Director, the successful candidate should be qualified in arboriculture, forestry or similar to degree level with significant experience in delivering large utility / vegetation management contracts. You will need to work to both Glendale and Client processes and procedures ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, whilst maintaining optimum control of costs.

 

In addition, you will need to have excellent time management and administrative skills, the ability to work in a demanding environment with a strong health and safety culture, excellent people management & communication skills and attention to detail.

 

The ideal candidate will hold natural leadership qualities; innovation and enthusiasm is required for this senior position and will be a key member of the regional management team.
