On an aside, though vaguely conected, would you (or Andrew) see any potential in picking up the almost invisible OPM nests, with thermography?

 

Just been at the LTOA's quarterly on the OPM update at Syon Park.

 

Although we trap for, and caught a male last year at HH, we don't (as yet) have any females/eggs/nests.

So the point being.......I have to say that if I wasn't shown the locations of some of the nests up in the canopies today, then I would have struggled with picking them out.

 

So would there be a residual temp signature with either the processions or the pupating nests?

 

Maybe this is already happening?
