For sale 2006, MK6 2.4l Transit tipper with Aluminium body on steel bed with tool locker (closes, stays shut but doesn’t lock)Ladder rack. Roof also raises to fit more chip. 109000 miles on the clock 11 month MOT, well looked after over the 8 years we have used it for. Pulls as it should, drives great (last of an old style diesel). Uprated suspension, all tyres in great condition. Usual wear in the cab on drivers bolster, all heaters work. Selling as a new vehicle will replace this one. testing the water on my 2017 transit tipper it has a fully arb style body fitted including barn doors, toolboxes, chipper top with ladder rack, has Led beacon fitted, crash rails & towbar this truck wants for nothing ive owned for around 18 months and never let me down and i bought it of a freind who had had it for a while and had also been well looked after and never let him down or had a problem its a good strong reliable truck the only reason for selling is im after the same truck but in a crew cab for somewhere to store tools its has 74k on the clock its drives like a car one of the best driving trucks i have seen never carried loads of weight its a well looked after truck will be interested in a swap with a crew cab or for just a straight sale👍not in a rush to sell as i it is a good truck and if i had somewere for tools ide keep it but will accept a quick sale for the right price No Vat to be added£18,995

So, I’m looking at tippers, chances are all I can afford that the moment is a second hand transit tipper. I know a lot of guys who swear by their trusty steeds, what is the general consensus on them? Are they reliable work horses or money pits? Is there anything that goes wrong with them that I should look out for when looking to buy? How do they compare to a Nissan Cabstar apart from the obvious fact that the transits usually have a larger capacity, these are an other option.
