  1. Climber/groundsperson required for Arb Association Approved contracting business covering the Cleveland/Teesside region of North Yorkshire. The applicant must hold the equivalent of CS38/39 and will preferrably have experience of advanced technical dismantling methods(CS41). A high standard of aerial pruning techniques is also required(CS40 desirable). The role requires excellent communication skills in order to liase effectively with customers and team members. The post holder will also need to work to industry best practice and current industry legislation, and assist other staff in carrying out equipment & vehicle checks as directed. Supervisor/ Senior Arborist Job no: 495995 Work type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Hailey Road, DA18 4AA Department: Other Salary: £30,000 / £26,000 *negotiable for the right candidate We are a registered social landlord (RSL) based in London. In 2014 they acquired another large housing association based in south east London who had a substantial land holding and with this a large tree stock. The grounds maintenance and tree works are undertaken using an in-house team. They are currently looking to recruit an Arborist Supervisor and Senior Arborists (Lead Climbers) who want to be part of a growing team with the opportunity to mould and develop the service and want a career with long term prospects and stability Reporting to their depot in Thamesmead, these roles will involve working as a Lead Climber, undertaking pruning, dismantling and other hands on arboricultural work for the majority of the time. In addition the Supervisor will be required to be hands on and organise and record work completed, liaise with residents and other members of the public Candidates should be NPTC qualified and competent climbing arborists with a good knowledge of all tree work operations and practices. Previous experience of leading a team of staff is required for the Supervisory role. In return they are offering a salary of circa £30,000 ( 16.48 per hour ) for the Supervisor and circa £26000 ( £14.29 per hour ) per annum for the Lead Climber *Salary is negotiable for the right candidates 35 hour week. Also 25 rising to 30 days paid annual leave, a £700 annual attendance payment, plus company contributory pension and training/CPD. Duties will include dismantling; felling; pruning and reduction; storm damage; hedge work; stump grinding; preparation of site risk assessments.   4. We have a permanent position in North London for an experienced lead climber. Standard requirements are 3 years experience, CS 30, 31, 38, 39 and full driving license with a tow license. Salary will be depending on experience, however it will be in the region of £25,000 to £30,000 to start.
