Plot 3A is an allotment plot in Riley Lane, Old Basing. Riley Lane is adjacent to the recreation ground and Beddington Centre, and is a single width road with a good sized car park halfway along on the right hand side. Gates lead into the allotments directly from the car park, and Plot 3A is immediately beside the gates. Wood chips can be offloaded inside the wide vehicle gate that is directly facing the car park entrance, in an existing wood chip bay/ drop off area. The allotment site can accommodate one truck load of wood chips at a time, which is shared over a period of a few weeks by many of the plot holders. Wood chips required on an ongoing basis whenever the bay has capacity for a refill.
