Pilning pastures

Hi there,

Are names are Christian and Georgia, we are both nurses who are trying to start a regenerative farm! We will focus on poultry, horticulture, an orchard, farm to fork events, and eventually education for children and adults. 

We are just starting this journey, and the budget is tight, we have already bought 10 tonnes of woodchip and 30 tonne of compost. We know in future we would love to make all compost on site, but also use woodchip and logs for so many other things, such as bedding for animals, and substrate for mushrooms.

Our focus will be small, as we are only on 5.4 acres, but we have big plans to involve the local communities as possible. We would be happy paying for loads, or giving away items from our farm when we get going properly next year!

Our access allows for a tractor and trailer, is off a council maintained road, but is onto grass. In all but the wettest days, the ground is fine to drive on. This will hopefully be changed by spring, once planning is accepted.

Would love to build a long term relationship with people, as feel these things are important to small business.
