West Monkton Parish Council have leased the land from Somerset Council and we are now in the process of turning thus green space into open parkland and paths in a tranquil environment; and provide a fitting permanent woodland memorial to the 11,281 people from Somerset who lost their lives in the First World War. We would welcome free tips of tree chippings to assist with the ongoing work on site but not including stumps/branches thank you.
