  1. Hello, I have a maple tree (Acer truncatum, "Pacific Sunset") with very uneven growth. One side grows about 40+ cm per year, while the other does not. The tree was planted about 2 years ago. I would like to know if the tree will eventually develop branches in every direction (and if so how long will it take)? We have quite strong winds around here, could that be the reason? Other trees in the area just look fine, though. The picture is from March this year and is facing north-west, which is also where the main winds are coming from. Many thanks in advance!
