Role Responsibilities: To provide expert arboricultural advice and service to existing and new clients To conduct detailed tree assessments, providing design input on development sites aligned with BS: 5837 To advise on planning matters related to TPOs, Conservations Areas and boundary trees To develop tree preservation plans, detailing recommendations and advice on tree protection To develop tree risk management strategies, conducting detailed assessment of trees and proposing remedial work to minimise risk To collaborate with the board and senior team on business strategy, marketing and growth opportunities To disseminate professional arboricultural instructions throughout the wider team Skills you will need: Essential: A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry or a related field A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an arboricultural consultant A proven track record of successful project management A strong knowledge and understanding of arboricultural practices ICF level 6 qualification Excellent analytical, problems solving and decision making skills Effective communication skills both written and verbal Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload Has the ability to disseminate and deliver technical information across a range of audiences A team player who can work autonomously and collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes Proficient IT skills and software packages UK driving licence Desirable Knowledge of working AutoCAD and GIS mapping Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with candidate’s experience, to include company vehicle, enhanced pension scheme, professional development and access to discounted holiday houses Are you interested?
