  1. that was what I were expecting. I'm Leeds so for anyone wanting to give me a chance, I'm right here haha! thanks for all the responses lads. Stay lucky.
  2. And what would one class as a decent rate employed or self? Thankyou for the above responses I understand it’s a tough industry to start in with 0 practical experience
  3. Evening all, I am newly qualified with all my tickets including aerial rigging and emergency treework operations. In everyone’s expert opinion, am I better off doing subcontract work or trying to get a job at a local firm to build my experience? I understand everyone will add their own thoughts but I’m happy to listen to anyone who’s willing to share some knowledge. cheers lads

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
