  1. It's funny how the world works. Had my first member log drop to my home, very nice chap. Turned up with an Ifor Williams model I hadn't looked at full of logs and chips. It was the LM85 with drop down sides AND the mesh kit! He casually mentioned it was for sale as he needed to upgrade to a tipper trailer..... I'll be taking ownership of it later today when he drops it round! Thanks again for the advice all, after seeing it in action I completely agree with the advice to go with a drop down.
  2. One of my main requirements is to shift branches and loose logs. I understand your point but I'd need a flat bed with removable sides.

Happy to accept logs at short notice, easy access, on the main road and plenty of space to drop and go.
  4. I'm in the market to buy a caged mesh trailer for mostly hedge clippings and logs. The GD85 seems ideal given it's size and weight in relation to my vehicle is there anything similar I should be keeping an eye out for? Most of the newer used ones I'm finding are around £3k and some have checker board floor, most have Phenolic resin. Is there much of a difference between these in terms of longevity? Also, anything else I should be looking at when going to view them?
