A bit about the role: As a Senior Environmental Operative, you will provide a high quality, customer focused grounds service and to supervise and allocate work to a team of Environmental Operatives. Some of the key results for the role include: To organise on site work allocation, including the provision of plant, equipment and tools including their use, maintenance, and repairs. To carry out a range of horticultural activities. To use a wide range of horticultural plant and equipment. To establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues and tenants. This role will require a UK driver’s licence. Are you able to work in all weathers in an outdoor environment? Are you able to undertake physically demanding work? Do you have experience of using a wide range of equipment and tools? If so, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for an Arborist Grounds Person on a permanent basis at our base location on Hailey Road. A bit about the role: As an Arborist Grounds Person, you will provide ground support to the arboricultural team. Some of the key results for the role include: To provide guidance from the floor for tree pruning operations. To assist in carrying out tree felling and stump removal. To assist in carrying out cable braising and tree support system activities. Deliver excellent customer service. To safely use of a wide variety of equipment and hand tools including but not limited to saws/pole saws/hand tools. This role will require a UK driver’s licence.
