Large dismantles on a daily basis and you're looking at an MS151? 😆

Can't blame Dan for suggesting battery saw given your stated models of interest.

Yeah to strip crown out. Then obviously move to larger saw. Ie 462 661 for chogging down. I've used the battery top handles before. And I really don't like them. Fair enough you don't have to manually pull start them. But I just prefer petrol

This. If I'd realised how much I'd use the battery toppers I think I'd have stumped up the extra for the Echo first.

It depends what work you do a lot of though, I seem to do loads of small reductions and hedge work, so no desire for the extra weight and cutting speed of the Husky 540i. Once it gets to blocking down I just switch to petrol 201.

I'm not into battery 🔋 powered chainsaws bro. I've used them before and they are extremely lack luster. Especially doing large Dismantles I do on a daily basis. They absolutely eat through batteries like no tomorrow. But thank you for your input/comment...

  3. Alright people, I'm buying a new top handle.

Which do you think is the better saw, I'm tempted in Stihl ms-151 and Echo CS-2511tes. I know the Stihl is 23.6cc.

Echo is 25cc, I do like the look of the echo. But how reliable are they compared to the Stihl?.

I'd be glad for feedback 😃.

    Cheers
