  1. Hi all As a relative new comer to growing Fruit trees I'm hoping someone can help me. I brought a dwarf plum last year, I guess was in its first year, I put it in a very large pot and it took of growing well. As it was growing so well I pruned it earlier this year and noticed the leaves were dying on one branch which I cut of as I was pruning. Now the leaves are dying further back along the same branch. I have investigated what the problem may be but could not identify it as I have watered it regularly and fed several times. The rest of the tree has no symptons of any problems. Can anyone help me as I would hate to loose this plum tree.
