  1. After Land has gone to Escheat it is 30 Years to gain adverse possession, not 10 years, as it is normally. ( used to be 12) That said, it proves just by the possibility of being able to do that , that you can start to use it with a view to posess. I cant think who would object but I would insure it if you are acting on it / within it and be sure you are covered . Its a ridiculous situation that Escheat dont maintain etc as who woukd be responsible if say a Tree fell on someone? Or if glass was walked on and you have been in there . Builders should offer the pieces of Land to householders, when leaving the site .

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
