Hi all, I have had to set up a new profile using my facebook page for speed as i could not remember my log in details from previous account, its been far too long since i have got to do any milling due to other commitments but trying to get some big timbers bought and 'get back to it!!!!' I am looking for help with what to offer a land owner of some oversize logs what have been down around 10 years, and also some smaller ones wind blown in storm arwin. please see photos and sizes below. the first 4 are of a pippy log, sap wood rotted off and it does have rot in the bottom and top, it is 22 ft long and 42 inch diameter across the butt end second log (following 3 photos) is 54 inch across the butt and 20ft to the branch. third log (following 3 photos) nice clean and straight, tape marks 20ft long, 41 inch a the flaired butt, DBH after the flair is 117 inch fourth log (following 2 photos) tape marks out 20ft a lot of branches DBH 105 inch Fifth log (last 2 photos) tape marks out 20ft a few branches DBh 117 inches any help with single cost per large log or current post per hoppus feet for large oversized and smaller logs would be apricated, there are also about 6 25ft straight clean non shaken logs that average 16 to 18 inch diameter at bottom. thanks, John
