Hi all, I was going to cut & split this in to logs, but when I marked a line on it I noticed it was red under the bark. Never seen this before, and it's not like any of the other logs I've seasoned in the past. Any idea what this is? Cheers!

Hi everyone, I have a tip site but I've now got 2 mates looking for wood too. Happy to take pretty much anything, but I'll pay for a good quantity of Ash, Beech, Oak & so on. I'm in Cosham, nice easy drive for you to dump on. Let me know if anyone is working nearby soon & wants an easy drop. Cheers!

Private driveway. I will move cars off the drive if I'm home, and if I'm not then you will have easy access anyway. Please unload on to stones, close to the wall if possible. Willing to take any wood suitable for a log burner - No Laburnum. Can chainsaw, split & season myself. Happy to provide some drinks for top quality wood! Ash, Beech, Oak, Rowan, Pine, Apple, Sycamore & Yew will be taken regardless, others will depend on how full my stores are.
