  1. Not sure. I'm going to have to strip it down completely to investigate. Thanks
  2. I was thinking that, but why does the flywheel keep seizing?
  3. Hi there, Once I've freed off the flywheel when the pull assembly has been removed, the flywheel will freely turn over by hand. As soon as i refit the pull assembly, after a few pulls it will seize up again.
  4. No it doesn't run at the moment. Its locking up with and without the spark fitted.
  5. Yes thanks.
  6. That's like my flywheel at the moment lol. Gareth is definitely in season!
  7. Definitely a menopausal reply. I bet your missus/boyfriend says the same about you lol. POS!
  8. Good night Gareth. It's well past your bedtime. Thanks again for your help. You've certainly increased my rank on this forum with your posts and my replies. Probably the only useful thing that you've done by the way
  9. Hi Will, Yes it'll turn freely by hand once I free the flywheel off with a socket. The assembly/housing seems fine.
  10. Unfortunately, I'm trying to leave this room but Gaz won't let me!
  11. Not sure. When I remove the assembly, I can't rotate the flywheel unless I free it off with a socket. I think it's the piston.
  12. But you are arguing. Do you fancy me or something Gazza?. Do you not have a wife or boyfriend to play with or are you of the gender neutral brigade?.
  13. Hi there, That's what im thinking. The only thing that baffles me is that when I remove the pull chord assembly, I use a socket and ratchet to free up the flywheel. Once it's free, I can spin the flywheel by hand freely. As soon as I refit the pull assembly it'll snag again. Thanks Lol. Using predictive text on my phone is a bitch.
  14. Obviously hit a nerve with the lovely effeminate Gareth. Thanks for your "great advice" and input. For someone that's "done" you don't arf go on.
  15. You are bitching and moaning. That's your problem. You've definitely got a feminine side to you. Simply don't reply and all will be fine.
  16. I thought you were done? Or do you just randomly give people useless information on various forums?.
  17. I'll probably buy an electric one like you adviced and figure out where I can plug it in to when I'm in the woods miles from anywhere. Thanks
  18. Thanks for your poor advice and for being absolutely no help whatsoever. I never realised that wearing a visor and safety boots would help free up my seized flywheel!.
  19. Oh well. Thanks for all of that. Your advice will definitely get my chainsaw up and running. As for wearing safety gear, I never knew you had to?...🤔
  20. It's been a good chainsaw for a couple of years. Why do I need an electric chainsaw when I work remotely?. I'm sure Titan is more reliable than an Aldi one. Pretty poor advice really
  21. Thanks all the same
  22. Hi there, I've done both. With the plug removed it still seizes up. The piston seems fine. I can't understand why it seizes up and frees off only to seize up again.
  23. Hi all, I have a Titan TTL759CHN chainsaw. For some strange reason my chainsaw won't pull when I pull the chord. It's as if the engine has seized up. When I remove the pull chord assembly, I've noticed that the flywheel is stuck. I can free it up by using a socket. Once this has freed up it will turn over by hand and won't seize up. When I refit the pull chord assembly and attempt to pull, after 3-4 pulls it seizes up again. There is nothing wrong with the pull chord assembly as once its removed it'll pull nice and freely. My question is why does the flywheel seize up only for it to free up with a socket applied and seize up again?.
