    Hi No it would be on an open fire in our living room. It would be dry as I wouldn’t be burning it for at least a year. Thanks

    I have just cut down a Berberis Shrub which was around 15 feet high and was made up of several trunks all around 6 inches diameter. I have an open fire and wondered if it’s possible to burn the wood next year. Due to the yellow colour of the sap I am concerned that it might give off poisonous fumes when burning. Can anyone advise me please as I can find nothing on line to help. Many thanks Robin Rapley
