Agile Arbor Pty Limited is based in Kelso NSW, Australia. We specialise in all aspects of vegetation management, including residential, commercial, Government and Transport NSW work. This includes tree removal and stump grinding activities, roadside tree removal and pruning and dangerous tree removal within rail corridors.
We currently hold Government contracts throughout the Greater Sydney region, the Blue Mountains and the Central West.
We are seeking an employee with experience in the tree industry, to work as an Arborist in a full-time position. We currently have 3 vacancies available within our company.
Your duties will include:
· Treatment, pruning, shaping and/or felling of trees and hedges using hand saws and chainsaws to maintain and care for trees and shrubbery
· Advising of appropriate times to use insecticides and fertilisers and attending to same
· Insect and disease management using appropriate chemicals
· Removing dangerous, dead, or decaying trees and limbs
· Investigate health and condition of trees and assess necessary treatment
You must hold the following skills and qualifications to be considered:
· Certificate III in Arboriculture (or international equivalent) and two years' relevant experience. If you do not hold an appropriate qualification, you will need to have at least five years' experience.
· NSW White Card (or willingness to obtain)
· Chipper experience
· Digger experience
· Excavator experience would be advantageous but not necessary
· Truck licence would be advantageous but not necessary
