So looks like it will be going back into the shed until I can sorce the filter for it I might have to buy an old knackered saw just for parts if I can find 1 lol

Cheers for the info mate I remember in the late 80s doing a bit of work on an estate in Central Scotland and there was a couple of guys doing 1st thins in the woods and they were using them They said they were awesome wee saws. So when I got the chance of this 1 I had to have it. Just need an air filter so my guy can set the carb up correctly as the saw will start and rev but won't tick over. He says he needs the filter so he can do this

Need help folks I have just got my hands on a husqvarna 444se and i am missing an air filter it's the early model and nobody seems to be able to supply me 1 ( discontinued) so I was told I can replace the carb for a newer model but don't know much about these things so need some advice Even better is someone on here has a filter lying around for my saw as I would love to keep it as original as possible
