  1. Charlie from Front Row Fencing in Market Rasen did a good job for me last month.
  2. 👍
  3. Good hardwood cord ex site was £60 in the summer. however, it is now heading into winter and pretty cold…..then add in running a wagon (and a bit of profit) and it is easy to see where the £2.5k comes from.
  4. Just to round this one off. Charlie from Front Row Fencing and I had a good day last week and processed very nearly all the wood into IBC cages. Thanks for the help and guidance everyone. ( picture is when we were a little over half done 👍)
  5. I would hope so - I have a Bobcat (E26 with thumb) and will help with loading and we also have a Manitou with bulk bucket for catching the logs. 👍
  6. Anyone know of or can recommend a contractor with a mobile processor who might be interested in putting 12 tonnes of straight hardwood through at my farm in Nottinghamshire? Timber is 2021 cut, and is stacked on hardstanding in 150-300mm diameter * 2.5m lengths.
  7. Thoresby Woodyard might be worth a call. Thoresby Woodland WHATSONATTHORESBY.CO.UK
  8. There is one advertised on Facebook Marketplace - location given as Tewkesbury - £1800+VAT https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1106919796797623/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A966eb30a-c8c2-4d6b-9c48-4c770e56bf96
  9. Hi all, Is anyone here using a Halverson processor? I know they are expensive compared with a used PTO machine but online information videos present them as a genuine one man operation, from the safety ( and heater/aircon, depending on time of year) of the tractor cab…… I work alone most of the time and am thinking one might work on our telehandler to deal with the (mainly Ash) trees from the farm woods, splitting direct into storage containers….. Real world feedback from anyone here using one would be much appreciated.
