This is the current state of affairs.. I have taken the swivel carabiner off and reattached it to the longer length using a bowline knot..

Hi, Looking for some advice on fliplines.. Today I nicked my flipline ( not a steel core) is there any way the rest of the line can be reused as it's cut close to the beginning? I have never before had to make up a flipline or anything so have no idea what to do.. Just seems a waste throwing away the whole line.. Look forward to hearing the advice

The oil hose is probs perished as it it vv hard feels like plastic... Any ideas on how to check for the other issues
