  1. @dumper that’s a good suggestion, I haven’t done that for quite some time.
  2. Thanks Dan, we are in a coastal canyon area in Southern California. Still In drought conditions with not a lot of rain through the year. I have used one of the soil sample tools, checking about 20” down around the root ball. So far it seems to be moist but not saturated down there.
  3. Hello, we’ve had some very healthy Podocarpus for close to a year now. I water them about 12 gallons of water 3 Tim’s a week. I’ve recently seen some yellowing on a few of the trees and unsure whether it’s to much or to little water. I live in the coastal canyon near Malibu CA. I’ve attached a couple pics of the healthy and yellowing leaves from one of the trees. Any advice on what the yellowing might mean would be very helpful. thank you, Trent
