Hello - This is my parents house. The roots of this large Beech(?) has pretty much now wrecked a big proportion of their garden by lifting the paving stones on the path to the end of the garden. They're not getting younger and I'm worried that it's now a trip hazard. I have a few questions: How do I find out who actually "owns" the tree - not sure what been there longer the house or the tree (house was built in the 60s), on the land registry this area has local council access. What can be done (irrelevant of ownership)? Could it be protected as it's part of a series of beeches lining that part of the A6 heading into Bakewell? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks
