Do WCS do a muffler part like they do for the 200.... or any other brand for that matter.

Is it worth getting one of my 201's ported?.... I hear it doesn't make a huge difference with mtronic products. If so who can do it as I'm guessing spud is not taking on new customers🤷‍♂️
  5. Strange.... I get it looked at... I had a hunch something wasn't quite right.
  6. I have ended up just running the 661 with the 36" instead and it seems to run a lot faster.
  7. Yes thats what I had thought.... but the saw seems to bind and bog down and stop, I'm only running a 36" on it... at first I thought it was the wood but it has done it on every job I've used it on.
  8. OK..... now I'm really going to really show my ignorance.... how is it that my 661 I have been running for the past few years runs better than my 881.... granted my 881 is new and may not be fully broken in but it noticeably boggs down easier even when the 661 is running the equivalent size bar.
  9. Fair enough.... tbf I may just keep it the way it is then👍
  10. OK many thanks... definitely will look into it.
  11. Quite.... that is one main reason why I was asking as I was thinking of making my own loops and wasn't keen on having 5 different rolls of chain.
  12. So it would appear from reading the thread attached that it doesn't necessarily cut faster just because I put the narrower chain on.
  13. Sorry yes I ment the narrower chain size from what is on the 881 as stock.... the same size as what comes stock with the 661
  14. I've been thinking for a while if I could get my 881 converted from .404 to .063 chain as everyone's probably aware it comes stock as .404 but I much prefer .063 chain.... any guidance would be much appreciated.
