Key Responsibilities: Working with a small team dealing in all aspects of tree surgery, hedge trimming and ground maintenance to very high standards. A good knowledge of trees with good tree identification skills, pests, and obvious defects. Skills & Competencies Takes a proactive approach using own initiative with a ‘can-do’ approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organised with a keen eye for detail. Enthusiasm, self-reliance, ambition, tact, discretion, and charm. Ability to foster and maintain successful working relationships with colleagues. Our ideal candidate will have, or hold equivalent qualifications; Full UK Driving Licence (manual) Punctual and able to liaise with clients in a professional manner 002003 City & Guilds Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting (CS 30, 31) 002013 City & Guilds Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue (CS 38, 39) 002004 - City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm 002107 - City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Pruning 002108 - City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques Other desirable qualifications / experience include: Trailer Licence, Woodchipper, Stump grinder.
