  3. Recently I've encountered many zama and Walbro carbing issues on saw rebuilds. Sometimes it's purely a case of a new kit and its sorted but when that doesn't work is where i come up against a brick wall. Could it be a welch plug issue or the check valve below the brass piece? What i'd like to know is is there someone or a company that will refurbish these carbs so they're good to go and as good as new again as they tend to be from older or saws that have been laying around for a while that i completely rebuild thanks
  4. Can someone please refresh my dating brain, obviously getting rid of plastic intake clamp on a husky 350 and not a big fan of the alternative metal clamp. Don't want a jubilee clip but there are others which screw from one side and pull the other to it which i cannot remember what they are called or whatever else someone can suggest thanks
  5. I build saws crank up just as a hobby really and when i saw 1/4 turn in the online manual i thought that's odd but as i generally build huskys i thought ok so hence the issue. So glad you ad a community are out there. I do have a genuine husky tacko so high jet setting won't be an issue thanks for your reply.
  6. All sorted now thanks, i read in manual 1/4 out on low but obviously that's incorrect. Set it to 1.25 and like you said regarding the idle screw just touching and turn in until it idles thanks
  7. Can anyone help as my fully rebuilt 441 won't idle. Low jet is at 1/4 turn out and idle screw fully in. Thanks

  13. Tell you what I've found useful is a sanding flap wheel, slightly larger as the flaps will flex into the bore size and it works a treat.

  15. I want to change to a rim sprocket on my 268/272xp conversion and had these two given to me years ago. Unfortunately serial number plate missing on the saw but only have these numbers stamped on the case if they're any use at all identifying it and to which box to use as both look the same other than the plastic cover. Any help appreciated thanks
