G&A Tree Services Ltd are a family owned business based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
We are looking to recruit suitably qualified, enthusiastic and reliable Utility Arborists. Candidates should also be self-motivated, able to work on own initiative, and as part of a team, whilst maintaining safety and working to a high standard.
The successful candidates will be required to work on our commercial contracts. A flexible attitude to work and the ability to work long hours is essential.
Ideally the successful candidates will have experience of power line clearance, a pre-1997 driving licence, or B+E and meet the following criteria:
Trained to a minimum of:
NPTC CS30, 31, 38, 39 & 40 (or equivalent)
NPTC/Lantra Wood Chipper
NPTC UA1, UA2.1, UA2.2, UA2.3 (or equivalent) & recerts where applicable
First aid
The ideal candidates will have experience, preferably gained in the utility arb sector, and hold Northern Power Grid Authorisations
Applicants from any area will be considered based on their willingness to travel, or stay away from home.
