  1. i kinda do, im at a loss where to find people who want to work, or even where to start looking. only the old guys want to work, the 20 yr olds dont wanna know it doesnt help that i expect excellence and im not tolerant of muppets and wetwipes and rake-leaners as to working conditions theyre usually relaxed and easy, no shouting, and usually short days.
  2. some people are only worth minimum wage. until theyve done a few weeks and got up to speed. even at the old rate, youre talking nearly 100 quid a day. ya cant be paying that for someone thats standing around like a wetwipe half the time.
  3. what are we all paying for basic ground labour? and what kinda hours? and how many labourers are bitching about pay? are we thinking minimum wage for under 23s with no experience or qualifications? or are people paying more?
  4. option b: yes, but not telling you, hahahaha

  6. i agree. too much clobber in the top overcomplicates and is more possibilty for something going wrong. plan ahead, use multiple anchors and natural redirects, spread load and natural friction, less tight angles on ropes, each redirect becomes the tie-off as you work inwards. letting it run relies on a good groundie, if it lands safely where its supposed to without damage thats a result. or again a redicted to suspend from directly above to reduce swing when cut. but this is a world where extra climbing ropes are required and backup personal anchors etc. but isnt this what we train for and get paid for, to decide how much gear is needed?

  8. surely you want to suck it up and buy a 201? i consider anything less to be plain junk and not worth my time. these 171/181 homo wner saws are as gutless as a frenchman.
  9. consider paying a local tree surgeon to cut them? potentially cheaper than buying a new saw
  10. my birds got an electronic ankle tag, will that do?

  21. oh man! how do you pick your nose properly with that? youll have to learn to use the other hand.
  22. i forgot to mention the cost of monthy subscription to the enthusiasts magazine
  23. if youre buying a bicycle have you considered all the additional costs? youll need some obscenely tight lycra shorts for waving your arse at motorists or "evil planet-killing infidels" as i believe theyre known in cycling circles plus youll need to find some other enthusiasts of tight shorts for them to ride alongside you at 10mph in rush hour on major roads dont forget youll need to find a massive chip to go on your shoulder luckily youll save on parking, fuel, MOT, service and maintenance, road tax, fuel tax, congestion charge, ulez, and the need for a proper religious service when you inevitably depart this world since you will become a soulless inhuman creature once you venture forth into the cycling world. but not to worry, you get to turn up late and sweaty to every social and business meeting, smugly proud of doing your bit to save the planet.
