Hi Thanks for the response, more photos added. It looks pretty healthy from the outside but has just dropped its acorns. Is there a way from 'looking' at it to understand how long it may stand. I understand I may need to have it cut down eventually but would like to keep it for as long as possible. More pictures attached. Thanks

I have the attached fungus in my 500 year old oak, is there anything I can do to get rid of this and save the tree? Thanks
