  1. I'm so glad I stumbled across this post I was beginning to think that I'd gone a little more demented than usual and had imagined joining BFF. I've been trying to find it for about 8 months on and off with no success, obviously. There is a group on Facebook called British Farming Forum which I seem to have also joined; I don't remember doing that either. The FB group isn't great mainly full of adverts and very little discussion. I wouldn't recommend it. The Farming Forum is still going strong with a lot of discussion, strong opinions and advice which can be useful. Read somewhere on there that it was an offshoot of BFF with more of an international flavour.

Working mixed farm: wood chips can't have thorny material to minimise risk of injury to dogs & livestock. Unfortunately can't accept brash/rakings/clippings due to risk of livestock ingesting toxic material eg yew. Could accept some tree stumps particularly hard wood for a domestic stumpery.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
