  1. Thank you all for your replies. Growing conditions in global warming conditions it is then.trigger_andy in future your living will be made with a water bowser, not a chainsaw!
  2. Hi all I really hope that Ash die back has not spread to beech trees. An ancient beech near where I live died it was covered in Ganoderma fungus before being felled. Since then two more younger beech trees are showing signs of distress, shedding seeds, thin canopy. I pass them as I walk into town. I hope it's not the fact that Ipswich has as much rain as the Middle East. Or simply that Beech is sensitive to global warming. I don't know much about trees other than I get upset when I see trees that I've known as a child are felled. Only those folk who have lived in the same place all their lives will understand.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
