Have a 2001 365 special which up until now has been bullet proof but with 3/4 different operators it doesn’t always get the care it needs ( it was once filled with red diesel mistaken for petrol ) ??♂️ Anyhow it seized the other night whilst in full flow, pistons is knackered and barrel scored most likely not proper type/amount of 2 stroke. Question is what to do now? We’ve bought a old dinosaur in the mean time 266xp which is running as new on an 18” bar, new oem parts are coming in around £200 as I’m in uk (Northern Ireland) or the cheap alternative, I would like to keep it original as it’s been so good so swaying towards original parts or convert to 372? Value for money I think just buy original parts
