  1. Cut to 8ft lengths left for a month. Then logged and split. I'll give them a year before burning them
  2. It does get a good amount of draught through. Roof is fully covered. Been split and stored in there for about 2 months and it's at 24% moisture already which is quick. Its pink because I hire it and the advert is the big pink splitter.
  3. Cheers for the replies, it's being split as we drop them. Dropping 2 or 3 Friday afternoon going back Sunday to delimb and burn the brash and knife the trunk up. Working well keeping the area tidy while making decent progress.
  4. I'm not in the firewood business, my house runs on solid fuel so always after trees to log. I'm clearing 50 sycamores for a friend and the timber is mine. I've made a log splitter about a year ago so processing doesn't take long. Would it be any good to sell a few loads when seasoned just to offset some costs?
  5. I dont know it was already down i just got asked if i wanted it for logs.
  6. Thanks mate, any good for burning?
