  1. Can anyone recommend a loler inspector to use that works near or will travel to my area please
  2. Anyone run the medium rayco stumpgrinder RG25 ?? I'm currently using the 700 series green teeth I think they aren't to bad compared to the older finger teeth style but was wondering would I get any benefit using the next size up the 900 series ? Would they fit ? Probably know the answer to my own question already but won't hurt asking.
  3. Thanks everyone im going in for £950 a day for 4x men and chipper it's not local to me 40 mins drive I think that's fair enough gonna go in fell and chip what we can then get digger and grab in towards the end
  4. The day rate including the 4 men and chipper plus profit machinery hire is separate sorry should have probaly said this at first.
  5. It's good money I know but customer wants it done quickly as possible hence the 4 men and don't have a digger I'd love one but belive it or not still can't afford one I hire them as don't get many jobs like this that often
  6. Roughly 1.2 acres and yes could work
  7. A shit load down a day that's the problem why I want a good rate
  8. Na bit more involved when i say labour i mean groundsman used to charge the man £650-750 a day for 2 men so I was thinking £1000-1200 a day customer not shy of a few quid
  9. Anyone got a flail attachment for a 1.5 - 3 ton digger for sale??
  10. Anyone got any ideas for a day rate on thinning small woodlands for 2x cutters and 2x labourers we are going to be felling, chipping and skidding larger logs to burn on a fire also stacking the medium logs in (habitat piles/log walls) between trees, creating wood chip paths after mulching with a 3 ton excavator also will have log grab attachment I will be charging the customer separately for the hire of the digger and attachments. Hope to have it done in 5-7 days. Ive got a rough figure myself but a 2nd opinion would help with this will appreciate it and thanks in advance.
  11. Just wait for a 261 to pop up your find one for that price 100%
  12. Think il have to go with what bill c suggested and forget the 2 inch lift and just deal with it will post pictures of it as I go thanks appreciate the help everyone
  13. Driving me mad now need a plan
  14. Getting technical now how about (in red) 4x2 5mm steel across chassis underneath the body bolted to mounts cut out 50mm cutouts to sit the body In and weld away with the crush spacers at rear and spring up front like you said that way will get the lift I want still use original mounts and hopefully strength
  15. Yes body rail is inside the chasis rail I've seen them springs before good idea
  16. Something like that maybe upside down to meet the original mounts should do it
  17. The mounts on the new body sit on my chassis that's the problem
  18. How do you recommend doing it extended mounts?
  19. What's everyone's opinion The spacers or box section
  20. Yeah I know what you mean not bad idea I was thinking of using 3mm thick box section to lay along the length of chasis to lift and strengthen then bolt through the new mounts straight through the box section to the chassis surely will be strong enough
  21. Got one to pick ter brains have a iveco daily tipper and a body off of a Isuzu to fit so the main rails on the new body don't line up with the iveco chasis but the lugs do the man I got it off said it would be okay to just drill into the chasis and bolt it down as he had it on a newer shape iveco but I would like to lift it by 50mm at least was thinking of laying 50mm box section between the body and chasis anyone got any other thoughts how to make it stonger or something easier.
  22. Picture angle not the best mind
  23. done the bigger one yesterday in the passing down rain the frame of the tree was pretty shit tbh best i was gonna get it ready for the comments 😂
