Hi all I’ve got a conifer to take down just outside Alresford in Hampshire next week on Thursday. Does anyone have or know of a tip site I can use for the chip and ideally logs? I usually go to Otterbourne but somewhere closer to the job would really help out on travel time etc. Many thanks

Has anyone tried the treehog log/brash trolley? Quite tempted by it over the stein as it’s cheaper but just wondering if it’s any good and does it fit through a standard gateway easily? Thanks

Hi guys I have posted this in the employment section too but thought I’d copy it here as this is where all woodland/forestry guys are. I’m currently looking for some hand cutting work as a subby. Been in the industry 8 years mostly in domestic Arb but looking to step into woodland/forestry work. I’ve got all relevant saw tickets and some experience with winches and tractors. And done quite a bit of felling in the new forest for the national trust and forestry commission. Also have 360 digger ticket up to 10ton and dumper, I’ve always been pretty quick to learn on machines coming from living on a farm.
